I love to play video games. I would spend my entire day playing video games if Mom and Dad would let me. When I am not able to play video games, I like to play board games too. Monopoly, Risk and Chess are favorites of mine. Maybe someday someone will beat me! I am learning Texas Hold ‘Em.
I do like school, but it is just so long. I have many friends and enjoy playing with them at their house or mine. My favorite subject is gym and I also enjoy social studies.
When I can’t play games I enjoy playing with my sister and family. We have a lot of fun together.
Hey there viewers. I am Dakota Coddington oldest of the three Coddington children. I have been wanting to have my own blog so i can tell all my friends out in Pennsylvania (and future friends in California) how I have been doing on my God driven journey to California. So if you want to reply tell me you name so we can get to know each other. (or if I already know you it will let me know your listening.) I know this is a little sloppy but I will have my own blog page to update weekly. Thank you for listening and caring about us.
Your Friend,
Dakota Coddington

Hey everyone. Sorry i have forgotten to write. everything is hectic around the house. I just went on a lockout with my youth group this week. You may be wondering what that is so I will explain. You know how some schools hosts a lock in where everyone is locked in the building for a night. This is the opposite you get locked out. This was to help everyone experience homelessness. I really liked the idea so i enhanced it for my self by only bringing a mat to sleep on. No pillows no blankets. Everyone else had sleeping bags and were warm all night while I was freezing my but off. It was a great experience that changed the way I look at things. What made it real was that the leaders got the police to come and give us a hard time in the middle of the night and they explained to us that you need to make the right choices in life because the homeless people of today didn’t just decide one day that they were going to be homeless. They made decisions in their life that caused them to be that way. So in conclusion I now look at homeless people a whole new way now. This is your friend,
Dakota
AWESOME…what a great idea. Glad you got to be a part of that experience. Love you lots!
Wow! I am certainly glad you aren’t homeless any more. I am guessing this experience helped make you grateful for your home.
Glad you had a good time at Lock Out!
I look forward to seeing you at the student leaders meeting next week.
Zac
Whew!!! So much in such a short time. Life just keeps moving on and hopefully it is in God’s will. Learning about homelessness that way is way more than “cool” – it is awsome and the advice the police gave is certainly right on, too.
Love you all.
hey there everyone. I am just posting here that my Aunt Linda has already come out to visit us in C.A. If it will get more people to come out here I will have a competition to see who the first five people are to visit our house is. So in that case Aunt Linda has come in first. Who will be next.
Hey Cod! It’s your best friend Lauryn here. All of your friends from Poquessing miss you, as do I. Danny misses Kasey, too. A LOT of people, including myself, have been saying it’s not the same here without you. And, from your blog, Ali’s plan to kidnap you didn’t work, hahaha. I just wanted to keep in touch with you, so I can tell everybody in school what’s happening over in California with you and your family. I saw some pictures of your house and it seems really nice. It must be blistering hot over there, it being summer and all. I hope you have a pool! please reply when you get the chance. Bye Cod!
Miss you,
Lauryn K. Powell.
(p.s. I wanted to draw a little picture. :P)

Does coming out by Skype count?
Love you,
Aunt Nancy
I guess Grandpa and Grandma Coddington don’t count since you didn’t have your house before they left. If you do count them you’re already up to 3.
(that was supposed to be a smiley face lol)
Hey Lauren I just knew you would post. So glad you are telling everyone how we are doing. Can’t wait to visit PA and see you. Make sure you keep in touch ok
Just so everyone knows I will soon be getting my own blog page soon and I will use that. Also replying really motivates me to keep on posting
Hey Dakota it’s me again. I told everybody about what you said and they are really happy for. They wish you all the best of luck with your journey, and hope you make a lot of new friends, and so do I. Bye Dakota!
Bye,
Lauryn K. Powell and all your friends from Poquessing.
(p.s. I promise to keep you updated the best i can.)
Did you guys start school yet. we are starting tomorrow.
HI Dakota,
So how was your first day of school? Praying for you and your family!
Hey everybody how have you all been doing. I had my first day of school yesterday and it was ok compared to how i normally feel about school. I didn’t know many people so i was pretty shy. know what you are all thinking right your like “What Dakota shy? No way” but when i don’t know people i am not my CRAAAZZZZY self. That is what i hope to accomplish now is not being shy around new people i don’t know. Well this is it for this week bye.
You’ll make a lot of new friends and so will Kadin and Kasey!
Hey Dakota,
I dropped off the gifts you gave me for Ryan & Hunter today….Ryan was not home because he had gone to Hershey Park but his sister said that she would give it to him and let him know that he could pick which one he wanted and then give the other one to Hunter. His sister said that he really misses you! I’m sure the gift will make his day and make him smile! I’m so proud of you for spending your money to get something nice for your friends…..you are an amazing young man and I am proud to call you my nephew! Love you lots!! Look forward to my next trip to California….next time we go to Disneyland…..WOOO HOOO!!
Hey everyone I just want to say that now I have a blog page of my own. What you have to do is scroll to the top of the page and click the Dakota’s Blog button and it will take you there. But there is no comment section there so you will have to comment here for now. My Aunt Nancy and Uncle Scott are right here with me on Skype telling me what i have spelled wrong and helping me out so that is just out there to say.Your friend Dakota
Hey Dakota it’s me again. School starts tomorrow for us. Wish you could be there with us in 7th grade. It’s just not the same without you. But I know that God gave you and your family a reason to move to California, and I hope you are doing good on your journey. Danny says hello to Kasey. We all really miss you over at Pouessing, and hope you make a lot of new friends at your new school.
Ciao for now,
Lauryn and your friends from Poquessing.
I looked at your blog today.
It was interesting.
Have a great day tomorrow.
Tell Kadin, Kasey and your parents that we love them!!
You forgot that you are quite the fomidible foe when it comes to playing chess!!! I have been impressed that you got the hang of such complicated thinking game even at the age of six or seven. WOW!
Hey Dakota
We are excited to see your new blog…tried to leave a comment and then came back here and saw that you posted about not having them enabled yet.
Looking forward to hearing more about how you all are doing.
How is school going? Have you settled in a little more? Making more friends so they can all see your CRAAAZZZZY side?
Blessings,
Aunt Trish for all of us here in Colorado
