21!

It’s amazing how quickly 21 years pass. Last weekend was Dakota’s birthday. Happy Birthday Dakota!

We are so grateful for the wonderful man Dakota has become. He has a passion for people and loves playing games and most things active that involve other people. When he isn’t spending his alone time reading, writing, or sleeping, we usually find him playing a game with friends, his brother or sister, or Facetiming a friend or two. His world revolves around people. He has a great passion for God and compassion for people. It’s what makes Dakota special to everyone who gets to know him.

Dakota, your dad and I are so proud of the way you have grown to love the Lord, your family and friends. I remember when you were about 5 years old and the front doors of the church building were open and Kadin walked out the door and you ran out, grabbed him and drug him back inside. You were in tears thinking that a car might come by and hit him. You have always been protective of your brother and sister and as many of your friends can attest, you try to protect them as well. You are a wonderful son and we are so thankful that the Lord gave you to us. May you continue to grow in your relationships, live for God’s glory and make disciples. We love you!

I remember 6 years ago when, under Wes’ guidance, Dakota and Kadin took the video and still pics of my Birthday party. At Seaside Dakota taught Bible study class to other teenagers. He was only 15!! May God continue to bless, protect, and guide you. DIANE
