At 5:41 this morning, Wes took his last breath. Dakota, Kadin, Grace and I were all around him during this time. We are thankful for the many years we were given to be together. Thank you all for your prayers and love. We will not make any arrangements until Kasey returns the end of the month.
Happy Father’s Day! Wes you are loved and will be missed greatly but we will see you again – no more pain, no more suffering and we praise God for that!
Wes was a great servant to the Lord, father, family man, teacher, leader, example to others, lover, etc. God blessed your family and many others with him. May God continue to bless your entire family and they be a blessing to so many others.
We are praying for you all ❤❤❤
I will never forget Wes and the impact he had on my life! Continuing to pray for all of you.
No more sorrows, no more pain. I’m sure Wes is getting a wonderful greeting this Father’s Day from our Heavenly Father. My heart rejoices for him but is also grieving for you all. May you feel God’s love and presence wrap around you.
With love,
The Erler Family
Yesterday afternoon after I read your most recent post, I prayed for peace to surround Wes and you, Karen, and the kids, and Wes’ mom and dad and that you would all know the presence of Christ and the comfort of the Spirit. I will continue to pray this in the coming days and months. We mourn this loss with you. The world was a better place with Wes in it. We look forward with hope to our grand reunion. Much love,
Shannon
Karen- Our thoughts and prayers are with you on this sad day for your family. But how appropriate that Wes went to the Lord on Father’s Day – he was such a good father to your kids. And today he is rejoicing with his Heavenly Father!!
Our deepest condolences to the family. Wes was a great man who impacted so many lives, mine included. I will never, ever forget him. Our prayers to Karen, your beautiful children, and to everyone who loves Wes.
It was a privilege for me to know and care for wes all those years ago. I have loved following your family through the years. May God comfort all of you during this difficult time. Sending love and prayers to you! ❤😥🙏
I was so sad to read this news today, but I am thankful to know Wes is free from pain. May the Lord bring your family continued comfort and peace and hope and strength today and in the days to come. Praying for all of you!
Karen, I am so sorry! I pray that you will all feel God’s presence and love (now and always).
“…fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10
“…do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:6-7
Thinking of you, and praying for you! -Danielle
Wes was a legend in youth ministry! He impacted so many and I really enjoyed serving with him at Emmanuel. But he was also a legend for fighting the good fight! His legacy will continue through you as a family! Hugs and tears!
So very sorry to hear this. Wes, your husband , father and son, not to mention the many other roles Wes was to so many others, will be missed greatly!
We know as Christians that we have the promise and hope of seeing those we love again on heaven , but it doesn’t make the hurt and reality of not having them by our sides any less painful.
Our prayers will continue for you and your family in a new way.

I am simply sad. Weeping with you.
I am so sorry for your loss. Being together is one of the greatest blessings of comfort. United in your sorrow, rejoicing together that Wes met Jesus today face to face. May your family hold each other tight and love each other through this new journey.
Karen, and kids:
Im so sorry for your loss. May God comfort your hearts as He is the only one who can bring real comfort and peace. I can only imagine the greeting Wes got today, from The Best Father ever. You all are loved, and we are sad with you. We will continue to pray for you all. 💔🙏❤
I remember when we were at Carmens graveside and the children were asked if they wanted to say something. They started with, Carmen can walk again, play, run , have fun! Out of the mouths of babes! Wes can now have joy, maybe be that practical joker, make people laugh and continue praising God for the riches he was given in his earthly journey- a wonderful wife and family! We are so grateful for having him with us as long as we did and making us turn more in prayer than we had been.
I’m so sorry Karen and Tribe. My heart is with all of you.
We have been and will continue to pray for you all.
This day was bitter sweet for me as I heard the update through Pastor Hal in the NS lobby at the 11 service regarding Wes. By recently experiencing the death of my father I knew the grief and joy you feel today😔. Wes visited my dad in the hospital. Thank you Wes for your example of taking time for people and pointing them to what Christ would do by actually living it! You and Karen were always willing to listen! Hugs and continued 🙏
I am sorry for your loss Karen and children. I am thankful to God that Wes will not suffer anymore.
My heart hurts with you, my spirit rejoices with you, my prayers continue for you. I’m so glad that Wes knows His Savior ans we can find comfort in that! All my love, Connie
His last journey of suffering is over. Now he is rejoicing with the Lord. We will be praying for the family as they go on and handle this new journey that God has called you as a family to travel. Comfort and strength as you move forward in God’s love and care.
So sorry to hear of Wes’s passing. Our thoughts, prayers and love are with you at this difficult time. Such a wonderful man of God who blessed so many.❤️🤗
Bob and I are praying for you all. May the Lord comfort you. Wes is celebrating Father’s Day with Our Father God and is free of this painful, earthly body. This is, indeed, a new journey for Wes and all of you. We will be praying for you as you grieve your great loss.
Our hearts and prayers are with you, Karen and your family. So sad for the loss of Wes, but so glad we can see him again in glory. Love you guys.
Our deepest condolences to you and your family! May God bless and comfort you and your family during this time of grief.
My heart was heavy as I heard of Wes’s passing at church today! I did pray yesterday that the Lord would remove him from his pain. Losing Bob a year and a half ago I understand and know the grief we all go through! You and Wes always made Bob and I feel so loved and welcomed! Always a blessing to see you or call on phone when needed help! My prayers will continue to be with you and family! God is my husband now and I walk and talk with him all day!
Love and prayers, Betsy
Hope to see you sometime or later in Heaven!
Amen!
Karen and the Coddington Tribe, I am so sorry to hear of Wes’s passing and your loss. Wes is an amazing one-of-a-kind man, and that is why your loss is so great. I am praying the Spirit’s comfort will present in a palpable and indescribable way in all your lives as you mourn.
I rejoice that we know Wes is now in his Savior’s arms hearing “well done faithful servant.” Today I find myself longing more deeply for the death of death and the grave. You all will be in my prayers.
Our prayers and love are with your family! May His peace and presence be with you.
