Worn and Tired

This has been a challenge over the last two to three weeks. We appreciate your prayers during this time. Wes’ body is getting very weary of the constant nausea, vomiting and overall weakness. It is taking a toll on the mind as well. It is hard to see better days when each day is much the same.

This morning we went to the hospital for an appointment to find out it’s not until Wednesday. We were very discouraged as we were hoping to get some answers of why Wes is still not feeling well. After speaking to the desk clerk, they are working on getting him in later today for labs, possible chest X-ray, and to see a nurse practitioner.

We’ll keep you informed of our findings. Please pray for Wes. He has not lost hope but feels his spirit is weakening.

  9. You and Wes have so many people praying for answers and healing, it is difficult for us to hear he is suffering and that you are still searching for answers but God is faithful to His word. We want answers today and sometimes that is the hardest thing for us, to wait.

I know that God hears every one of our prayers. Because of Wes, my faith was renewed and strengthened by his ministry in Oceanside. I saw his love for God in his ministry and I will forever be thankful for you and Wes in our lives.

I continue to lift Wes up everyday, for healing, for answers and for strength. Love you guys.

  12. Karen and Wes, I know what you are feeling having gone through this with Don. It is wearisome and discouraging and it is hard to keep up hope. I just prayed for comfort and healing today for Wes. May the Lord grant to both of you rest, comfort, joy in the Lord, and a little encouragement from the docs today. Love and hugs.

  19. Dear Karen,
Know that we continue to pray for each of you. We had prayer for Wes this past Sunday during Sunday School & AM Worship. We pray for God to strengthen Wes and for your entire family. Wes’ cancer has had its impact on each of you. It’s hard for you and your children to see him suffer. May God give each of you what you stand in need of during this season of suffering. Remember God’s promise in Deuteronomy 33:27. Fall into and rest in God’s everlasting arms.

Blessing to you & your family,

I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

  21. Wes,
Listen to Mercyme almost home. I’m quite sure you have heard it before. I have been on my knees in prayer for you and your tribe. As a Nurse Practitioner myself, with the nausea and vomiting, have you had a braine CT?
You were instrumental in my early walk with our God, jesus Christ. Thank you.
All my prayers and love for your tribe,
    Kate Ryan
