We are back to square one with Wes. His body is not tolerating the use of the feeding tube for medicines or food. He continues to vomit randomly. He will be spending another night in the hospital as well so they can try some new medicines tonight along with others this morning.
They have taken more X-rays to check for blockages. The new Chemo was cancelled for today, they are hoping to do it tomorrow afternoon but we will have to wait and see.
Wes was blessed to have one of his previous nurses from another trip see that he was still here in the hospital and come pray over him.
God has given Wes opportunity to share the gospel, encourage others in their faith walk, speak into many lives whether it be about their personal struggles, marriage, children, or family members. God is using him mightily here even though he longs to be home.
Praying with you – thank you for taking the time to update us. We know this is hard for both of you.
Praying that God gives you strength today and that his body will respond quickly.
Love you both!
Prayers and more prayers.
My heart is breaking for you all.
Amazing! We all want and pray for Wes to progress to go home, while GOD is doing a work right there at St Luke’s on the 6th floor! Praise God! Continuing to ask Him to bring wisdom and clarity to the doctors on Wes’ behalf to hold down food and his meds! Hear us, oh Lord. We pray Your will in all these things!
Praying for wisdom for all the doctors to find what Wes needs. Praying for Wes’s body to receive it and that it does what it is suppose to do. Praying for Karen and the children to receive strength and encouragement. Continuing in prayer for all of your family’s needs.
Continuing to pray! Love you all!
Karen, please know that Kim and I continue to pray for God’s will in all matters regarding Wes and the family.
We will continue to stand in prayer with you and the family.
Love you guys!!!
🙏🙏🙏
Karen & Wes,
We pray continuously for you all. Many years ago, Wes wrote me a note in church that said “Smile! God is Good!” On the other side of the note, I wrote, “Why doesn’t it feel that way?” Wes responded back, “B/c of Luke 15:11-31 esp. verse 21-25. God does care what we feel like or do or where we are hurting or what life bring us. He loves us like crazy.” Still hanging on to your own words (and God’s words) each step of this journey for you guys!
Lifting you guys up!
Thank you Wes, and Karen for being such beautiful examples of God’s love and strength. Our church here in Missouri is praying over you and your family. Praying you can find a treatment that works!
I am continuing to pray for Wes and the family. May the Lord watch over you all and guide your doctors in caring for Wes.🙏✝️
🙏🏻🙏🏻
The Felix family is continuing to pray as we know God knows better than we do even though we don’t like the circumstances or see things from His perspective. So we give God all the praise and glory in the name of Jesus for healing in His time and purpose as we were made foe Him!
That is not to discount what Wes and all you are going through but to remain faithful to our Lord who is the only o e who truly understands and in whom we can always trust and will never leave us nor forsake us in our time of need!
We love an miss you guys!
Wes and Karen, We ache for you both and are praying for some relief for Wes. Thankful that in all the pain Wes is able to lift up Jesus with many who are around him in the hospital
Praying
Please Lord, give Wes and Karen a miracle, no pain & struggle, or home. Lord You are the creator of all things, we ask for you Hand in the Coddington’s life struggle. Please Lord show them the Love you brought to man and shared with all of us. Please chase the clouds from the sky.
Wes, you are a warrior! Keep telling everyone the gospel message. I pray your spirit grows in leaps and bounds even as the body struggles. I pray for healing for your body – 15 more years “cause you ain’t done yet”! I love you and your beautiful family – but mostly your family 😉 I look forward to encouraging updates from Karen.
Love ya Bro!
