With CoVid on the rise in Moscow, our long weekend plans to visit Kadin was summarized into a 10 hour drive and a 3 hour visit. It was a good visit and he was able to meet Polaris for the first time. Hopefully Dakota will get to meet her this coming weekend.
Last week was a really good week for Wes, however, this week not so much. He started his fourth round of Chemo on Monday and came home feeling worse then any other treatment. The nurse called me to check up on him, because when he left the hospital his blood pressure was higher then usual and she was concerned. After an hour of being home, his blood pressure was still high but not high enough to cause major alarm, but she was going to inform his doctor. Wes felt like his body was tight and achy all over and as soon as he came home, he immediately went to sleep.
Today is day 4 from Wes’ treatment and he’s been struggling all day. He still feels very weak all over and eating just makes him feel bloated and more uncomfortable. He’s been resting most of the day. Tonight we went for a short walk around the block and that was about all the energy he could exert for the day.
Next Friday Wes is scheduled for his second C/T scan. These scans will be our first look since his diagnosis to see if the cancer is spreading or if the treatment is helping. Thank you for your continued prayers and words of encouragement.
Thank you for the update. We are all still praying!
CGCA faculty and staff are praying with us also.
Thanks for keeping us updated.
I’m always so thankful for the updates. I pray like crazy for all of you. Big long distance hug from here.
It’s so good to hear from you. Praying for all of you regularly and believing for good report from scan.
Betsy❤️
You were on our hearts a lot today, we just could not get you off our minds. As we went from one thing to another one of us was leading the family in prayer. Now we know why.
Love you so much.
Thanks for the update. We have been keeping you all in prayer.
So glad you saw Kadin. I’m sure it meant a great deal to him and you two. Long car trips can be a real drain. Something not good for anyone especially Wes. I pray “this cup will pass” from Wes and he will once again feel like his old self, and that your burden becomes lighter. Prayers, prayers and more prayers cover you and yours.
We are following your treatment schedule and family activities here at the Browns house in Delaware…..praying regularly for each of you as you trust the Lord to carry you through this. May He give you strength and courage and continue your positive testimony for the Lord. praying……praying….. Aunt Mildred
