Valentine’s Day 2014

Karen took me for a drive in the truck last night.  We seemed to be wandering around nowhere.  As I was guessing where we were going, she began driving back toward our house.  When we arrived, there was a sign on the door that said, “Coddington Diner.”  While we were driving around, the kids had turned the place into a romantic setting for dinner and dancing.

Inside, the soft music was playing, London Broil was ready to eat and a dance floor was prepared.  The kids were dressed to the nines.  Kadin was the chef, Dakota was the waiter (including towel-on-the-arm) and Kasey was the hostess.  Apparently, while I was at work during the day, Karen helped them prepare for this fine dining experience.

The night included menus, candles, homemade place holders and even a secluded eating area where they had hung red and white sheets on the walls.

It was definitely a great surprise and proved once again what a great family God has given me.
