We are Alive!

Greetings from the Coddington Tribe!  We have returned from our trip to the Pit of No Updates!

We have lots to share and are excited about it.  Here are a few of the majors that we will share more details on as the days progress:

1.  The kids have transitioned really well from Philly to SoCal.  They finished their first year of school, got great grades, made new friends and were involved in plenty of school activities.  They even picked up a number of accolades and awards along the way.

2.  Karen has been busy working/volunteering at the kids’ school as well as working part-time for the youth pastor at our church.  She has good friendships with the other ladies at the school and they get together often.

3.  Wes has been busy juggling a few things.  He has continued working with TAI, he’s working his own business and was hired by the church to head their church planting endeavors.

4.  Because of #3 above, we will be headed to PA, NJ, MD and NY to share the vision for the church planting in SoCal.  Southern California is one of the least churched areas in the USA. Oceanside, the city our church is in, has only 7% church attendance.  We are super excited to join the Lord in what He is doing here and use our skills and experience to equip the church to reach the community.  We will post more details soon, but the kids will be in Philly July 10-Aug 10 and Karen and Wes will there July 22-31.

More very soon!
