My parents and the kids got back on the road today. They took most of the morning to pack the car. They were not able to get an eight passenger vehicle and the biggest vehicle they could get was a new Dodge Journey. They had all their luggage for a three week journey plus all the stuff from our mini-van.
They had to leave a couple bikes and our bike rack and a cooler and such in CO. But they put a 50 year old rack on the roof and got most of it in. The rack came from a friend of my sister and he and my dad spent hours loading it.
Here are some pictures.
This has been an adventure for your family. God is always in control, and He is always good.
I keep praying.
A multi-chaptered book in the making…. Praise God!!
Not only did Mark spend tons of time helping, but he and his wife, Julie, (dear friends and old neighbors of ours) hosted all of them for the two nights they were stuck. And Julie had eye surgery Thursday morning!
We are so thankful for the working of The Body!
