On The Road – In Carlsbad

We have arrived in Carlsbad, CA. We parked the trailer in my brother Dave’s driveway and will spend the night here (maybe more). Thanks for the prayers for safety and blessing. We will see where the road leads from here…

Meanwhile, Karen took the below picture without knowing it. I actually cropped this out of a picture she took of some scenery and made this “more important scenery” photo.

I am extremely thankful that Karen has been with me during this journey. While she sat by my side for every mile, she has been more than just a cab occupant. Her prayers and support and emotional and spiritual undergirding have helped keep our faith strong. She has been a well-fastened anchor during the ups and downs. We still have miles to go on the journey and I am ever grateful that she is “closer than she appears.” Not just physically close, but emotionally, spiritually and in so many other ways.

Thank you, Karen. I am blessed to walk with you through life.
