Yesterday we left Oklahoma City and traveled to Albuquerque, NM. We went across the upper part of Texas and through to New Mexico. The scenery is wonderful to see again. I have not driven through the Midwest since 1988 and Karen has never been. She is thoroughly enjoying the landscapes.
The journey so far has been as follows: Pennsylvania to Ohio (Day 1). Ohio to Indiana to Illinois to Missouri (Day 2). Missouri to Kansas to Oklahoma (Day 3). Oklahoma to Texas to New Mexico (Day 4). We head to Arizona (Day 5) then Nevada (Day 6) then California (Day 7). We will meet the kids at the Grand Canyon tomorrow, hit Las Vegas, then arrive at our new home on Sunday.
We have not taken many pictures, but here are a few of us along the way.
Thanks for the pictures. I am glad to hear that you are enjoying the time together.

Praying for you in the new adventure God has placed before you. If I haven’t mentioned it before, thank you so much for the Godly influence you both have had on Matt and Tina. Allie to this day feels like she missed out in not having you guys as her youth pastor. Matt & Tina concur, emphatically!!!!! Love, Kathy
Sounds like you are having a great trip, minus the side adventures. Also glad you are able to enjoy it along the way. God bless the rest of your adventure.
I remember that 1988 trip!! Crammed into a van, sweating, sleeping in shifts, blown trailer tire… but SO MUCH FUN!!!!!! Glad you are finding joy in your adventure this time! I’m praying for you!
