We stayed at the Bosworth’s in Cedarville, Ohio Sunday night. Their son Dan is one of my best friends and has been a great influence on me. He arranged our stay and a big thanks to him for his friendship and to his parents.
The day was fairly uneventful. Around 10 am we did one of our gas stops and I discovered the cable to the emergency brake release on the trailer had been snapped in half. We assume that it dragged on the ground when he hit a bump or something. I jerry-rigged it back together for the time being and it will work.
We landed in Kansas City in the evening and we met Paul, a friend who I met doing work for TAI. His office is in Kansas City, MO and I have done training for his organization several times. He showed Karen their campus. It was nice for her to get a glimpse of one of the places I go when I travel. We had dinner with him, his wife and son and another colleague of his. It was a great connection. Paul put us up for the night in his basement suite and this morning we are headed across Kansas. (Thanks Paul and Brenda for the hospitality.) We are leaving with freshly baked muffins from Brenda!
Last night, My brother David visited a house around the corner from his in CA. It seems the perfect fit for us, but they are asking a lot more than what it seems it is worth. We are asking God to open the doors if this is His choice. Mostly, we are asking for faith to wait for His provision.

Thanks for taking us on this adventure across the country and into the hearts of God’s people. Praying for traveling and for His provisions, as requested. You’re teaching me as you go, Wes. Blessings for the day ahead….
More of God’s grace to ya’ll as you bless others on your way west. Be safe. See you in Texas some day.
