Minor Surgery (Day 5 – 1:30am)

Last night around 8:00, what started out as a little walk became a quick race to the bathroom. Wes’ bowels have finally produced. It is now 1:30 and once again he has discharged the waist.

We thank you for the continual prayers and wanted to let you know so that you could celebrate with us. God is with us.

  1. Danielle McKelvie likes this!

  2. Amazing how we don’t often think to give thanks for bowel movements – – at least I don’t 😀

I am praying that this means Wes is on the mend!!

  3. Hope you’re feeling better real “quick” now. Just keep it “moving”, Wes. Thanks for the updates Karen. We’re praying!

  4. Thanks for the frequent updates. We’ve been praying for you all!

  5. Wes and Karen

Celebrating with you, and was just remembering that although this is a painful setback, we can praise God that all is still well with the transplanted kidney.

Praying you get out of the hospital soon

  6. PTL, and praise Him again and again and again!

  7. Now we can say “Everyone poops!” It’s a really cute kids book used for training my nephew (now 22 years old). We all had a laugh with that book.

Glad to hear you are putting out again Wes. Praying that with each little thing it becomes one more step towards recovering and getting stronger.

We love you guys and will be available to watch the kids, run errands, make food, whatever you need. Just let us know.

Romans 5:4 … also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.

Hang in there guys! He’s got a plan for you.

    Love and prayers,

  8. Hurray! thanks for the update – glad to hear those parts are beginning to function again. Relief! MSBC is praying.

  9. Way to go, Wes! I thank YHWH everyday for keeping my body functioning. Can’t “Go” without Him!!! WooHoo!!!!

  10. Thanking the Lord for this and your continued recovery.
    Love you all,
    Aunt Debbie

  11. I never thought I’d be praying for this as often as I changed your diapers when you were little. Praise the Lord He is good and He hears & listens to us. Love Grandma
