Today I had an ultrasound, blood work, and meeting with my doctors. My creatinine was down to 2.2. My hemoglobin is up to 8.8. The hematoma has decreased in size by a lot. The ultrasound showed very good blood flow to the kidney.
My days are long as I lay around mostly. I feel tired and winded if I try to do anything. I experience quit a bit of pain if I move too much, but all this is expected. I am doing well overall. Tomorrow I will share a few thoughts that have been simmering.
Karen has been an absolute angel. I could not do this without her. She drives me to the city and sits through all my appointments. She continues to be a mother and do her work as well. I don’t know how she has the energy for it all, but she does. And she never speaks a word of complaint! Ours kids have been wonderful too. They get shuffled around and have spent plenty of nights not in their own beds. They eat food that they don’t like and work hard to not complain about the circumstances.
I am so proud of and thankful for my family!
You and your family continue to inspire me and make me want to be a better person. Thank you so much for taking the time to update.
Love Theresa
Love ya, kid. Grateful that your numbers are all changing for the better. The bod takes a little time to get itself together – it’s had a few assaults on it.
The Lord is good. Maybe He doesn’t want you doing too much yet. I’m glad you have some “thoughts simmering” – sometimes He gives us down time just for that and plants something great in us.
You’ve got wonderful kids, and Karen is a gem.
Love you all,
Aunt Ruthanne
Wes,
Glad you are home and doing well. This is for Karen: “All my might!” (an old basketball affirmation) and of course that is for and to the Lord in caring for anyone and all else we do.
Marti
Continuing in prayer for you and your’s. It’s so hard to be patient while healing- just remember for now that is your job- to rest and heal!
Thine o Lord is the greatness, & the power, & the glory, & the victory, & the majesty. For all that is in the heaven & in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom oh Lord & thou art exalted as head above all! 1 Chron 29:11
Never measure God’s unlimited power by your limited expectations. Just a thought.
Glad things are doing better. The hemoglobin being low will make you out of breath. Aunt Ruthanne and I know that from experience. Hopefully that will come up soon. Glad the hematoma is smaller. So happy the creatinine is lower. God is good. We continually pray for you and the family. So glad that God gave you Karen. Thanks Karen for being a wonderful wife and mother to Wes and the children. Thanks kids for being such great kids. God has given you all a heavy burden to carry. Know that He is there helping you each step of the way. Looking for brighter and happier days in your lives. Love you all.
Great news all around Wes!
I continue to pray for you
Sean
Glad to hear the good news….and I pray that you continue to heal and begin to have less pain real soon! I love your family too! See you soon!
Great to hear about the levels, Wes. I am sure the Lord has a reason for you to be resting.
Karen, I pray that you continue to have the energy you need to do all that the family needs. But I also pray that you get your proper rest now that Wes is home.
You both are an inspiration to me. Thank you for your faithfulness to God and to each other.
Dear Wes & Karen,
Continue to be in prayer for God’s healing hand on Wes, as well as a full and quick journey back to health. Also praying for you Karen, that you would have God’s perfect peace & strength to meet all of the demands of each day (I am sure that there are tons of them). We miss you guys on Sunday mornings! Our love is with you & your family! May God extend a mighty blessing on your family during this time. Much Aloha, Ellen
Currently, I am in Southbridge,MA at Steve’s helping him & Sarah cut up trees downed by tornado. 40+ trees. God is good. Only a little damage to house, etc. There were 12-15 people here today from Steve’s church cutting up trees, dragging limbs down to street, making sandwiches for crew and neighbors who have major damages to their houses and no electricity nor water. It is a wonderful testimony for neighbors seeing the family of God at work.
Wes, I am so thankful that your numbers are down and the hematoma as well.
God , THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! Wes I hope everything continues to get better. You and Karen are wonderful kids that show all of us what prayer and love can do. Uncle John and Chris are in North Carolina unpacking . They left at 6am yesterday and arrived at 12:35am last night. Uncle John flies home sun eve and Chris starts his job Monday. The kids start school July 25th so they’ll leave July 22 6am so they can be registered on Friday for school Monday. Everyone is moved in here with us until they leave. hope we can all get together in July. Love you lots!!!
Wes,
So thankful that the levels are going in the right directions. Holding you all up in prayer.
