Please Pray!

Last night around 10:30 we got a call for another available kidney. We accepted with the understanding that there are 2 others before him.  This morning we found out that the kidney is a match and we are on our way down now to prep for a transplant.  If all goes well, he will be in the ER this afternoon.  We will keep you posted.

  4. Wes, Karen, kids – many of us here in Iowa are praying for you all. We’re praying for the family of the person who died as well. We have a great God and “if God brings you to it, he’ll bring you through it”. We know that God’s hand is on your life – through His love and for His purposes. Thanks for sharing with us and allowing us the opportunity to participate in His plans for you through prayer. Can’t wait to hear all that He is doing to glorify Himself through this.

  8. Wes and Karen and family,
You are in our thoughts and prayers. We pray that gods love and compassion would shine forth to you this day, and that his will would be carried out. You have been such an inspiration to many and we pray that the kidney would take today! you have been so faithful to him through all these trials. Our prayers are with you today, and for a speedy, successful recovery!

  11. Wes and Karen, you are in our thoughts and prayers. We are praying for your acceptance of the kidney, the docs and nurses and that above all His will be done…your in His hands now, we patiently await good news!

  12. Wes, Karen, & Family,
Denise sends me periodic updates about your family. I was reading up on all of the ups and downs and all of your reflections on it. I would find your family “popping” into my head or should I say put on my heart at random times…when a certain song came on Christian radio, in the middle of a walk. I’d use those reminders to pray for you all, mainly that God would grant His peace that passes understanding. Praying again now that God would have His hand on ALL involved in this situation and that He would continue to use you to bring glory to Himself. Thank you for your example of faith at such a young age and with such a serious burden God seems to have entrusted to you. Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow…
