Today has been up and down but mostly up. Wes was feeling good this morning until he threw up his breakfast so he put himself back on a liquid diet because he still hasn’t had a bowel movement. The doctors agreed with this decision. Wes enjoyed soup from Cosi’s and Italian Water Ice from Wawa for lunch. The chicken broth from the hospital left much to desire.
This afternoon he has been feeling much better. He has been awake most of the afternoon and feeling less lethargic. They plan on taking the port out of his neck sometime today leaving him with one last IV line in his arm.
He has been up 3 times and went for one walk while his parents went for lunch and I went for a walk to the Apple Store to replace his IPhone. Later this evening he is looking forward to having company. A few friends called and are stopping by. Today is a good day for visitors.
They are talking about sending him home either tomorrow or Thursday. It will all depend on his Heprin & Cumadin levels. Today is the third day he has received Cumadin so they should know by tomorrow morning.

Thank you for taking the time to update. Praying for you two. Love Theresa
Wes and Karen- I was reading some of your older posts today with one of the Wee Care camp staff. I read the one about the Swedish Fish game. We LOVED it and at the same time we said, “Hey.. We are going to do this with the kids this summer!” I hope Kasey doesn’t mind that we are going to borrow her idea.
