Wes started the day feeling really good. He went for a walk this morning and was able to get cleaned up just in time to watch our Sunday service on Skype. Thanks Phil, you made his morning! It was encouraging for Wes to be able to watch the first baptisms in the new baptismal and hear the sermon from his hospital room. Afterwards he went for another short walk around the halls.
This afternoon Wes was feeling a bit sluggish. He wasn’t in any pain just not feeling as good as yesterday. His parents, our kids and I came down to visit. We all played Imaginiff for a little while and then his parents took our kids home so they could finish their homework and get to bed. Wes was then able to get a little more sleep before two more friends stopped by, Paul and Ryan. By the time we left, he was feeling much better. The nurse gave him 2 percocet and benadryl and now he is set for the night. 🙂
The exciting news is that tomorrow morning, bright and early they are taking the catheter out!!!
They may also be discharging him tomorrow. We are waiting to see if his creatinin levels have dropped. We ask for continued prayer in this specific area.
Karen

Many are rejoicing with you and praying for you Wes and the family. As you requested I am praying for the family of the donor and prayed for the donor prior to their passing.
Keep on Keeping ON. Phil 4:13
As always, you are my hero. Many thoughts and prayers are coming from Florida. My family has been swept up in the journey you and Karen are making with such steadfastness and strength. Now they are all watching over you as well. My thoughts and prayers are with you both. Let me know if you are coming to work tomorrow! It’s much to quiet here!
We are praying! So excited about the progress. The Zehrungs
Hi guys,
Glad things are moving ahead. His time is always the right time.
Got a prayer request for all who are following what the Lord is doing for you, Wes. A co-worker’s brother was just diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer. He is 38, I think he knows the Lord, and was just told this week-end that he has only 10-14 weeks left. Here a miracle is needed. Please prayer for Donnie, and add him to your prayer chains. Thank you all.
I know how much Wes and Karen have flourished with the blessings that your prayers and comments have given them.
Thanks.
