After receiving a bag of fluids and blood pressure medicine, Wes started to feel better. Dr. Ramirez also stopped in to encourage Wes that his kidney function and levels were good and to hang in there. A little while later, Wes was able to get up, go for a walk, and get cleaned up. He was even able to eat some raspberry water ice and chicken noodle soup from Cosi’s.
Thank you for your prayers and words of encouragement. It is especially during these times your comments are an encouragement and an inspiration to both Wes and I.
Karen
BTW, Wes’ Uncle Dan sent him an encouraging email today, it included this verse: “In all their distress he too was distressed, and the angel of his presence saved them. In his love and mercy he redeemed them; he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.” Isaiah 63:9. It is a reminder that God is right next to us feeling each pain and discomfort and in the end He will raise us up, by His power.
Hey, Wes!
I also say along with the doctor, “hang in there!” Praying for you and Karen. Thanks, Karen for keeping us posted.
Lovingly,
Marti
Wes and Karen,
You are incredible! You both keep the faith and rally for one another. Our prayers continue for all systems to be functioning well. God is working, but in His timing. We can tell He is working because of the grace you display in hard times and the joy in small victories.
Blessings, Eleanor & Rich
So do not fear for I am with you;
do not be dismayed for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Hi Wes and Karen, Lou and I have been following your “ordeal” and, with each update, have been following it up with prayer. We are also praying for you Karen, as you try to hold it together for Wes and the kids. Thanks for the updates and may God hold you all very close!
Hey Wes and Karen,
It is so good to hear that Wes is feeling better today. He was right when he said “Tomorrow I will feel better.” It made me smile to hear about his newest addition to the liquid diet.
I continue to pay for you and Wes. You are such a blessing to me as I read your updates.

Isaiah 43 came to me this AM as I was thinking of you
Hang in there — He is with you!
1 But now, this is what the LORD says—
he who created you, Jacob,
he who formed you, Israel:
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
2 When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
3 For I am the LORD your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;
Keep On Keeping On, Wes and Karen! We Sing Praises To His Name….. Hallelujah!!!
