“I Will Feel Better Tomorrow”

Wes did not eat much all day until this evening.  Some of the medicines he takes doesn’t go well with an empty stomach so he forced himself to eat his dinner. He seemed to be feeling a little better but just before his family and I left around 11:00pm he threw up all his solids.  They say it could be because he hasn’t had a bowl movement since before his surgery.  Wes’ reply, as he has said to me for the last few years just before going to bed, “I will feel better tomorrow!”  I admire that Wes always tries to keep a positive attitude even when he doesn’t know what tomorrow will bring.

  1. We’ll be praying that Wes really does feel better tomorrow, and for rest and comfort for you all. We wish we could be there with you guys. Really glad to hear that the Creatinine levels are a little lower.
We love you and we are looking forward to chilling with you all when we get back ‘Stateside!

PS. I saw something about Rollo Tomassi on IMDB or something recently, it brought back some ‘potent’ memories.

  2. Wes its tomorrow and I hope your feeling better. I hope you slept well and got your rest. Now, your hopefully ready for a big bowl of Doc. Zerby’s famous oatmeal, a remedy that will stick to your guts and leave you full for about a week…but I don’t have to tell you that. Still praying for you of course and if your up for it John and I might give you a call today to see how your doing and if you are up for visitors. If your not up for it just say ” No way, No how, NOT Happening”….and Ill be sure to leave John home. ha, but really if its too much just let us know when we call and no big deal. Love ya man….Keep the fight

  3. Praying for a good day!

  4. Praying for your good tomorrow! Hey!! That’s really today. Love you Wes. Thanks for allowing God to shine through in the midst of all that you have gone through.

    Praying for you.

  6. Wes (and family),

What a mighty God we serve! Wes I was so blessed this morning as I read your note of gratitude to your parents, remembering them always being willing to open their home years ago to all of us crazy kids. I am so thankful with you, that they are there *for* you and Karen; God has truly given you a gift in them as your parents.
I will continue to hold you in prayer. Praying today IS THE day that creatinine level begins to decrease and and stay down. That you will *not feel like “crap.” That you will feel the mighty, loving presence of your Heavenly Father in your room with you…comforting and healing you, and bringing you peace.
We are privileged to pray for you and your family. And we do so, knowing that Romans 8:28 holds much truth.
you and your family are loved.

  7. We are praying for a better day today and strength and continued hope! You and Karen are hugely inspiring to us!!

  8. “The Joy of The Lord is My Strength……” Receive it and own it

  9. No one knows what’s coming tomorrow but knowing tomorrow is the Lord’s hands is a great comfort. Praying your numbers will come into a normal range and your body to a healthy state.
You are amazing in how you handle this situation and a great encouragement to us. Praying God will bless you and yours with His love and comfort both physical and mental.

  10. Continuing to pray for you Wes. Grandma Brain always used to say, “I don’t know what the future holds, but I know who holds the future”. Praying that your new kidney waking up and working is part of God’s plan for you. Hang in there. Love you all.

  11. Well, here’s to another tomorrow!! Hope that you are feeling better and that your new kidney is beginning to wake up and take control.
You are in our in hearts and in our prayers.
    Proverbs 3: 5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
lead not in your own understanding
    acknowledge Him and
    He will direct your path.

    May God Bless!!
