Call to Prayer

Wes’ creatinine has gone back up to 7.4.  They say it could be because he is dehydrated.  They have been having difficulty getting blood out of his veins the last few days.  He has taken two Percocet and is still in a lot of pain.

Wes requested that they do an ultra sound just to double check that the kidney still has blood supply and is functioning.

Please pray!  Thanks

Karen

Embrace the pain and know that it means your body is working hard to heal. Please do not struggle in mind or body. You are surrounded by grace and everlasting love. We are all praying for you. Hugs!

  4. We are praying! God is able. Love you all!

  5. Were praying Wes, Prayer that it is just dehydration and not anything worse. I know this has to be difficult for you and karen, waiting and not knowing day after day for sure what is going to happen, but you two know that everything is going perfectly according to God’s plan. Keep doing what you have been doing. Continue talking to every single doctor, nurse, janitor, etc on that 7th floor and showing them the hope that gets you through every day. The hope of Jesus Christ. This has become your ministry is a strange way, God has placed you in a position that not many of us are in or will ever be in, and he has placed you there for His own reason. Wes, you keep the fight and continue to have the faith and trust that many of us would hope and pray we would have in your situation. You have been a true example of the Apostle Paul…keep it up. Karen, your support for Wes and continued trust in God is no doubt what has also been pushing Wes to do the same. We love you both and after a week you continue to encourage and challenge us by your example. So, Thank You

  6. Greetings to both of you! As one of the admin assistants at Bible Fellowship Church I receive your postings. Since many here at Bible Fellowship know and love your family, I often forward your critical requests for prayer to our church family via our prayer chain. I’m praying at this very moment that you will feel the presence of our gracious Heavenly Father and that His presence will be an encouragement, bring relief from the pain, and that as the Great Physician He will orchestrate a miraculous healing.

  7. Hi Wes. While I was praying for you and thinking of what to say to you, a card came in the mail. I thought of you. It says: just think, you’re not here by chance but by God’s choosing. His hand formed you and made you the person you are (kidneys and all). He compares you to no one else– You are one of a kind. You lack nothing that His grace can’t give you. He has allowed you to be here at this time in history to fulfill His special purpose for this generation. We continue to pray for you every day…many times in restaurants while our food is getting cold. You are continually on our hearts for healing and the fulfillment of God’s perfect plan for you. Love, Jim and Paula

  8. Lifting you both before the Throne of Grace!

  9. We here at Main Street Baptist continue to pray with you and for you. Our hearts ache as you go through so much physical pain and uncertainty, but thank God he is a ROCK for us to stand on. Thank you for stengthening our faith as you share your hope, your journey, your wonderful God-honoring Coddington sense of humor, your love for each other, and more.
