Popcorn, marshmallows and bacon.

I am not sure this is necessarily newsworthy, but tonight we had family night and it was Kadin’s turn to pick.  He decided to use the Cricket Craft machine to make a bunch of cards that we can send out to people when they are sick or as Thank Yous.  When we were done, we had a snack planned by the kids:

Popcorn, marshmallows and bacon.

Dakota thought the popcorn and bacon tasted good together.  Kadin and Kasey dipped their marshmallows in cinnamon sugar.

I laughed and thought, “Unfortunately, the apples don’t fall far from the tree…”  I am speaking of course, about Karen, but most of you would have know that.

  1. The many branches of that tree, heh, heh. Sounds great to me. Yeah, Karen, you can take the blame (when nobody who knows the tree is around, heh heh).

  2. I can’t believe Karen eats like that! The Coddington branches are very strong and probably take after their grandfather!!!!!!! Popcorn and bacon – interesting- I might try that sometime!

  3. For your info- we are traveling to North Carolina in April. We will be meeting Jenn and family. They are looking to move – possibly to the Charlotte area. Can’t get decent jobs here, taxes too high. So this trip will be an adventure to see what’s going on there. We all fell in love with that area when Jim lived there. Right now , you could sit outside and look at the pansies in just a sweater if it is cold. Not bad when you take a look outside. I finally can see my deer that were out there for Christmas. I bet your dad can’t see anything in his yard!!!!!

  4. Aunt Cilla-

I don’t think you need to move to NC to see pansies in just a sweater…

Popcorn, marshmallows and bacon is a very interesting mix. Sounds like a good cupcake wars idea.
