Wes’ Day!

Wes had a good day yesterday.  He spent the morning in bed but was very productive after lunch.  He was able to get a lot of work done and spend time with some friends that stopped by through out the evening.

This morning around 3am Wes wasn’t feeling really good but by the time he had to get ready for dialysis he was feeling much better.  Today is Wes’ birthday and the kids have been praying that Wes will be feeling really good on his special day.

Wes is an incredible father, husband, and friend.  I can’t imagine life without him.  I think about the day they told him he was most likely going to lose the kidney.  I entered his hospital room with tears streaming down my face and I found him on the phone calling “everyone” he possibly could to give an update and request prayer.  He looked at me and said I could call people also.  I looked at him and said, “You’ve got to be crazy!  I won’t be able to talk… I will just text :)”  As he was leaving for the OR he grabbed my hand and said, “Remember, There is no fear of bad news.”(Psalms 112)

God has given me a wonderful man.  He has boosted my faith and has always gently brought me along with him.  I know many of you have been blessed but I just wanted to share as his wife and friend that he has been a blessing in my life and I am thankful for the opportunity to experience life with him.

Happy Birthday, Wes!

  15. HI Wes! Happey birthday! I remember the day you were born. Who would have ever guessed then that you would be such a wonderful, inspiring man of God. I am so proud of you and proud to be your aunt. We love you and look forward to many more birthdays for you. God gave us a miracle in you. There were times when you were growing up that we all wondered about how you would turn out. You were so active. Now you are active for our wonderful Lord through all your trials. We love you and hope that you have a wonderful birthday today.

  19. Wes,

Happy Birthday!! Hope you have a Great day!!

I have been following your log everyday and I know where you are from my own medical issues last year but just remember it is one day at a time and trust in the Lord with all your heart and you will make it through! I know that it can be difficult somedays more than others but the Lord wants us to focus and listen. I learned that listening and following the Lord was the biggest part of my recovery.

We have been praying for you!

    Love,
    Kelley

  20. Happy Birthday Wes. I always remember your birthday date because you and our first dog , Decan Jones, share the same birthday!!! He was born in 1968, so you were always a bit younger. With Jim, Trish , Jenn, David and you all being in the 35+, we still can remember you playing in the greenhouses. Can hardly believe you are all in that age category but I guess with all of us being in our 60’s , it has to be true!
Have a great day. Love ya

  21. Happy Birthday Wes!
