It was a quiet day in Wes’ room. He had been feeling nauseous all day and got sick a couple of times. You could tell that everyone who walked in the room, whether dietary, cleaning, transport, nurse etc., were waiting for some sort of Wes’ charm but were surprised to hear nothing. Wes spent most of the day with his eyes closed and silent. It was a hard day! He wasn’t feeling nauseous when I left around 9pm but was going to continue to take it easy and pray the feeling doesn’t come back.
The doctors are not sure of the cause for the nausea so they took a scan of his stomach. They think it is just from the surgery but wanted to make sure.
Wes’ only visitor today (besides family) was Yung, a man he has never met. Yung found out about Wes through our good friend Lem, who is currently in South Korea. We exchanged stories and were able to visit for a little while. We were very encouraged as he reached out on behalf of our brothers and sisters of the Chinese fellowship. Even though we have just met, we share a common bond and faith and we are thankful for their love and support during this time. Thank you Yung for taking the time to visit with us. (Sorry Wes wasn’t feeling well but maybe next time you can see the Wes we all know and love!)

I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”

We continue to pray for God’s healing hand.
Thank you for taking the time to update. You inspire so many.

May the Spirit of all comfort comfort you in this time of difficulty.
Look forward to having you back here to fellowship with us soon.
Hey Buddy-
I know things are difficult and we’re praying for you. Hang in there, like you always do. We believe in you, and in our healing God. Let us know if you feel like talking and we’ll call this afternoon as we drive back from SC.
Love in Christ,

Hey Wes,
You are truly an inspiration to me and to so many. May God bring you the physical healing to match the spiritual growth so many are getting from “watching” you go through this process with faith and grace.
In prayer,
