Last night our friends the Whittles stopped by to drop off two packages, one for Wes and one for Julie, filled with cards made by the children in our church. Today, I was able to find Julie and presented her with the cards. She was so over joyed that she showed her supervisor and came up to Wes’ room to see him. She entered his room with eyes filled with tears and overwhelmed with thankfulness. She loved the cards. Thank you for making her day! We exchanged info and hope to be in touch in the future.
Wes returned home just in time to play a game with all the kids and then send them off to bed. We are so excited to have him home. Thank you for all the prayers, gifts, food, flowers, cards, and entertainment both for us and for our kids. We are truly blessed!
Wes still can’t sleep flat so we made him a bed on the couch. This is where he spent his time between surgeries re-cooperating and it is likely where he will be spending most days for some time. Thanks Lisa (Babb) for the wonderfully soft blanket you brought to the hospital. It serves him well (and me as well each night I slept next to him in the hospital).
The hospital was only one part of this journey for us. We will continue to keep you posted as the Lord unveils the road ahead.

Sleep well. Glad you’re home. Love ya all.
I’m glad Wes is home…where he belongs. In my thoughts and prayers. Love Theresa
There’s no place like home! We will continue to pray.
Love,
Steve, Robyn, Stephen and LeighAnn
Welcome Home! I am sure Julie will miss you guys but those home made cards and inspiring contact with Wes may last a lifetime, here and eternally.
Continuing to pray with many others…
So glad to hear you are home! I’m sorry I missed you this week but I will continue to pray for you and I look forward to checking in on you via your website. Hopefully we’ll be able to get together over the summer 🙂
May God continue to heal you physically and Bless you and your family,
Love,
Lisa
I’m so glad you are home. As you know I have been praying for you and Karen & the children. I’m sure the boys are concerned, too. Tell them that GG loves them. I, too , am looking for the good that comes out of this. I feel that 1 is your meeting with Julie. Who knows what is going to come of that meeting. Lots of Love, Grandma
So glad to hear Wes is home. We have been praying. Wes is on our church’s prayer sheet. We will continue to pray that God will provide in every way possible throughout this time. God is Good all the time. I know God has this worked out, it will be amazing to see how He works this all out. Love you guys.
