Wes had a good day at dialysis, best day in quite awhile. For the last week he has been mentioning that his throat has been sore and yesterday noticed that his tongue is white. Well, today we realized that he has a yeast infection in his mouth and throat and will need to go back on a medicine that they didn’t continue after the second surgery that would prevent the infection.
It seemed like it was going to be a really good day. After dialysis Wes came home and took a nap. This afternoon he was feeling a bit strange but was able to spend time with Kasey playing and catching up with a few things and then back to bed. He had a meeting for work tonight and wanted to be well rested. It came time for that meeting and while getting ready, ended up getting sick and bringing everything up he had eaten. He still managed to get to the meeting but as soon as it was over, it was a rush to the car to get down the street so he could get sick again.
It’s been a physical, emotional, and mental roller coaster. We don’t know what to expect. There is no “normality” to anything that is happening. We are just going through each day discovering new things and looking for relief from one thing to the next. Doctors don’t have answers but are trying hard to diagnosis and give any comfort they can possibly give. Your prayers for faithfulness in the daily walk are appreciated. Thanks.
Karen
Wes, I’m starting to think that Job has a little competition here. I know the Lord has you right in his sights. There’s not much to say but that you are very loved.

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.”- Hebrews 6:10

In the midst of your pain….you are one of the strongest people I have ever had the opportunity to not meet! : ) I am a PBU student and was delighted to be added to this email. I have been touched by your transparency. I pray for you and your family….knowing that God will truly receive the glory for all of this. You have no idea how much your posts have blessed me and amazed me at the sheer power and miracles of God. Be blessed!!!!
Dear Karen,
I know the frustration of one day “better” and the next day “down” when caring for one that you love. I am praying for you and of course for Wes. May God be your comfort like no other and may He heal and comfort Wes.
Lovingly,
Marti
Hi,
Sorry you are so up and down with this. It does teach us to totally depend on God daily. One thing for sure the doctors may not have the answers but God does and they will come in His time for His glory. .
Praying for you and yours.

Still praying in the gap for you. Hard to realize the full power of this praying, before we come to the revelation. Trusting in Him in true Faith. Continually, praising YHWH for all He is providing and His Faithful promises….. Hold onto our love for you, Wes and Karen.
FYI – Wes is on his way to the emergency room – -can’t stop throwing up. “They” think it may be a blockage in GI track – – please pray!
Thank you, Grace. Praying for you and Doug, also. Love you.
