The last few days have gone fairly well for wes. Thanks to Gina, wes’ co-worker, who recommended taking fruit syrup after his nightly medicine to get rid of the nausea. Wes has not felt nauseous the last few nights. Yeah!
Also, wes stopped taking one medicine because it was removing too much fluid and giving him headaches and other side effects. Long term there could be complications but only a few days left and those meds won’t be needed anymore.
This weekend, wes’ parents, Steve and his family will arrive and together we will celebrate the end of a 10 year journey for wes and the beginning of a new journey. Even in the midst of it all, we have been blessed beyond measure. It’s been a journey that on one hand, we wouldn’t wish upon anyone, but on the other hand, we’ve learned so many life lessons, grown and matured and seen that also in our kids lives. We are so thankful for all the love, support and prayers from our family and friends.
Our hearts and prayers are with you both! We love you!!! K&S
I love you guys soooooo much. Our wonderful Lord will carry you through the rest ’cause His love so outdoes ours. Thinking about you all and praying that as you trust Him you will continue to experience the miracles to come.
Love, Aunt Ruthanne
Wes, we are praying for you and for the details of the surgery.
