2nd Day Out of the Hospital

Today Steve was doing much better then yesterday.  He was able to be out of bed more.  He hasn’t been in much pain, in fact, he hasn’t taken any pain medicine since he left the hospital.  He is mostly dealing with discomfort, loss of energy and a lot of gas from the surgery.

Wes began his day with a call into the doctor.  He gained 4lbs and his blood pressure was 164/110.  The doctor was not too alarmed he just raised his blood pressure medicine and added a lasik (takes fluids off the body).  He did go to the church service, but we arrived late and left early.  He didn’t feel so well when he returned home, he laid down and  fell asleep quickly!  This afternoon, we walked outside and then later he did a stair workout.

Dinner didn’t agree with him, seems like anything acidic his body rejects.  He ended up vomiting his dinner and then vomited again a little while later.  Now he is resting waiting to take his night medicines and  hoping when he does he will be able to keep them down.

Tomorrow morning both Steve and Wes will be going to the hospital for their checkups.  We will find out “officially” how they are both doing.
