1. Thank you for the prayers. I was able to sleep last night for the first time in about a week. I spent the day in bed, but the rest last night made a difference. Hoping for another good night tonight.
2. Steve had a good day of testing and meetings at Jefferson today. He goes for a second day tomorrow.
3. Huge praise: Steve was told today that he is a perfect match for me. We were told neither Dave nor Steve were a perfect match but they could make the kidney work with more anti-rejection meds for me. Today, he found out from the top kidney doctor at Jefferson that they listed him as not a perfect match but the report was wrong. He is a perfect match. The doctor himself did a retest and had the labs look again. This is great because it will likely mean less invasive immunosuppressants for me.

He comes through all the time. Love ya all, guys.
Great news!
hey Wes, I randomly happened upon your site. I was in your youth group back in Steinbach MB years ago. Really cool to see pics of the fam! My wife and I are living in Denver, moving back to Canada in a couple months.
Praying for your health and the upcoming transplant.

Hey Wes, your dad gave me the link. I’m praying for you and your family. Can hardly wait to see all the ways that God is using all this in your life and in your family. PTL. Jack
